Vineyard Suites at Indian Creek Project is an affordable senior housing community consisting of a 50 unit wood frame, 3 story apartment complex. The interior dynamics of the project consisted of one building with a unit matrix of 24 one bedroom/one bath units, 14 two bedroom/one bath units, and 12 two bedroom/two bath units. All apartments were constructed in accordance with Federal Fair Housing Guidelines and the Americans with Disabilities Act for accessibility.
The interior design of the project provides an ample living area, large bathrooms, walk-in closets, utility closets and plenty of storage space. The one & two bedroom units feature 9-foot ceilings and a host of high-end amenities. The projects interior common areas feature appealing multiple types of flooring including vinyl composition tile. The commons area features many community rooms including a recreation room displaying a fully accessible kitchen, a library, computer room, laundry facilities on each floor, fitness center and arts & crafts room. As a security feature the project features state of the art cameras all with digital recording capabilities and keyless entry systems on all exterior doors for easy tenant access.
The exterior area consists of covered carports for each unit and handicap ramps for accessibility. The recreational aspect covers a variety of outdoor activities including a horseshoe court, fishing access, creek-side walking paths, community gardens and bird watching.
The Vineyard at Indian Creek was honored with the 2008 Idaho Business Review “Top Project” award.
