YMCA Healthy Living Wellness Center

Continuing with Wright Brothers, The Building Company’s relationship with the YMCA, WBTBC was selected to complete Tenant Improvement for the YMCA Healthy Living Wellness Center. The project consisted of transforming the existing Nelson School Supply building into the YMCA’s new space. It was the first proto-type structure for engineered truss joists. Special consideration was made to the building’s accessibility for many different people and conditions in their journey to wellness. WBTBC was able to effectively communicate with owners, architects and coordinating subcontractors, greatly helping in avoiding changes in the work. The project included included abatement, demolition, new HVAC, electrical, flooring and plumbing.

WBTBC’s level of communication and commitment to timeliness allowed employees to move into the space ahead of schedule, ensuring a successful ribbin-cutting and grand opening for the community.
