Vineyard at Broadmore

The Vineyard at Broadmore exhibits the core mission of the Project Team including the owner, the architect, and the staff at WBTBC. The Vineyard at Broadmore is a 38 unit, 3 story apartment building situated on a previously developed 1.26 acre lot located in Nampa, Idaho. Each of the three floors is over 14,000 square feet, and the apartments range in size from 700 to 950 square feet, each having its own private deck. The parking garage is built from cast-in-place concrete with a post-tensioned concrete deck providing structural support and acting as the first floor. Some amenities and comforts for the tenants include a fully furnished lobby, computer and library room, a game room complete with a pool table, a television room, a well-equipped exercise room, and a full complement of ENERGY STAR appliances and fixtures.

The Vineyard is designed and designated for low income senior above the age of 55 and falls under the Fair Housing Act (FHA) and American with Disabilities Act (ADA); with financing provided by Idaho Housing and Finance Association (IHFA), and others. This project was awarded the Energy Star Award as well as the rating of LEED Platinum. It had originally set out to be only a LEED Certified building, but with the expertise of the management team, ways were found to increase the rating from the minimum LEED Certified all the way to the highest rating, LEED Platinum.
